People are your organizations most valuable asset. I show how to maximize your human
assets by teaching executives/managers how to improve their people connections and
communication skills. This allows them to more comfortably and effectively interact with
others both professionally and personally.
My experience is most people are
promoted to management positions because they excel at a task or process. Usually, no one
teaches them how to productively interact with people. Through self-assessment and
analysis I guide people to determine and appreciate their strengths and to value their and
everyone elses "you"niqueness. I help them to realize people are not
really difficult, only different. This leads to respecting and honoring those with
differing behaviors and points of view. The result is a healthy bottom-line for your
company.
The most common reason people are unhappy at work is because they do
not like their bosses. Most bosses like to be liked, yet do not know how. They were happy
doing what the task or technical process they did before they were promoted. They never
learned how to lead people. Now, the boss is unhappy, the employees are unhappy and,
ignored, eventually the company becomes an unhappy place to be. I work with managers
one-on-one or in small groups to teach them people skills. When a person is doing what
they truly enjoy, enthusiasm, passion and joy are released. This leads to more fun, less
stress and a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

We also help executives develop Balance in their lives and businesses - Many
executives seem to have it all, but are not happy. They have lost their energy, enthusiasm
and passion. I guide executives to create balance in their lives and businesses. Then, as
a role model, they give their employees permission and encouragement to create balance in
their lives. The result is the ability to attract high achievers and retain the best
employees
How do you do that?
Presentations
My presentations focus in three areas: People connections, life balance and
attitude adjustment.
Within People Connections are: leadership
development, team building, understanding and accepting the differences in people,
recognizing and rewarding employees and communication skills.
Life Balance programs include
understanding why and how stress kills and how not to be a victim, how to not go home from
work exhausted and how to have it all and still have time to enJOY life.
Attitude Adjustment sessions include why
attitude is so important and how to change yours if necessary, managing transitions and
learning to change your life by changing the way you think.
Coaching - Most people are
committed to and enthusiastic about implementing the knowledge and skills they learn in a
training/speech. Unfortunately, once they return to work, other things take priority and
little changes. My programs include one-on-one coaching sessions for individuals and small
groups to ensure implementation takes place. Coaching provides the guidance, support and
encouragement necessary to achieve goals and dreams more quickly.

remind people of what they learned
I provide three things when I
work with a client:
Clarity A key element to our success when
working together is my one-on-one interviews with your employees. Once a client and I have
agreed to work together I personally talk with several of the people that will be involved
in the training/coaching. These interviews with you and your employees allow me to look
beyond and underneath the symptoms to provide clarity of the real
problem(s).
Combining my unique combination of analysis and creativity I then
create a customized program specifically designed to provide the knowledge, skills and
inspiration necessary for you and your employees to achieve your vision and goals.
Knowledge Each program I do is laden with substance
and solutions developed during my 25 years as an educator, my 20 plus years as a manager
and a lifetime of constant learning. Knowledge is the foundation to growth and development
of new skills.
Skills - my programs are all very interactive,
experiential and fun! My experience is adults learn by being involved and doing, not just
sitting and listening. During my presentations we not only learn how to develop new
skills, we practice them. Usually the first time we do something is the hardest. We
eliminate that fear by practicing within the safety of the seminar environment.
When I work with someone, I really
zero in on four things:
Awareness My
goal in my work is to move people from living and working unconsciously to working and
living with purpose and focus. My belief is awareness is the first step in a growth
process. Until an individual/organization is conscious of what is and is not working and
what the possibilities are, they see no reason to change.
Possibility Thinking
Everything is first created in our minds. If you want different results, you need to
think in novel, original ways. In todays knowledge-based environment, accelerating
change and increased competition for business and employees we need cutting edge skills.
I dont want my clients to only
think outside the box. I want them to create new boxes, be original and unique. My
presentations and coaching provide the knowledge and skills to create ideas that make
money, solve problems, surpass your competition and put passion and enthusiasm in your
life.
Enthusiasm I
push people out of their warm, fuzzy comfort zones and move them to possibility thinking.
My goal is to develop an "I/We can do this attitude" in every
person/organization that I work with, a belief in self and your ability to achieve
anything you can imagine. This leads to joy in the workplace, improved team spirit and
increased output. All of this leads to a healthy bottom line.
Accountability
If we do not create a commitment and plan of action for implementing what we learn, change
and growth rarely takes place. I guarantee success by including a plan each participant
creates, commits to and is responsible for based on what they learned. An important aspect
of this is I work with you to guide participants toward the vision and results you want
